Which links can I use?
Video files you upload: MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM or AVI, up to 2 GB. Up to 20 minutes on Free, 60 on Pro and 2 hours on Premium. Speech is transcribed for you, so the video does not need captions. Only upload videos you have the right to use.
Is there a watermark?
Free clips carry a small animated snipo logo at the top. Pro and Premium clips have none.
How long does it take?
Usually around a minute for a ten-minute video. Longer videos and more clips take longer.
Do I need to install anything?
No. snipo runs in the browser on desktop and mobile. You only need an account.
How are clips chosen?
The transcript is read from start to finish. Passages that open with a strong hook and make sense on their own score highest. Each clip shows its four scores, so you can see why it was picked.
Can I change the captions?
Yes. Edit the text, switch styles, and adjust position and size before you download. Free includes three styles; Pro unlocks all seven.
